Lindsay Erica Dennison

I hope that this portfolio has provided a glimpse into my journey so far as I fulfill my role as a language educator. My experience in the MA TESOL program has provided me with a strong foundation to help me facilitate, mentor, and guide my students as they emerge as English users. However, the completion of my MA TESOL is only the beginning of my career in English education. As a teacher I will continue to make students my priority. I will always strive to find new ways to motivate and encourage my students to want to learn and experience the English language. I will continue to help them develop their English identities and provide them with opportunities to join English communities. And I will remember that learning should be enjoyable, and students should be given a choice in what or how they learn. It is my dream to become a top educator in the field of English literary while pursuing the highest standards of professionalism. This means that, like my students, my journey to learn has only just started.
