My background and what I believe about learning have greatly influenced how I teach English as a Foreign Language. My personal attitudes have coloured the words I use, the activities I plan, the materials I choose, the assessments I create, and the way I teach my students and facilitate learning. My attitudes, beliefs and background have shaped my students’ learning environments and influenced student motivation and achievement.
